Agreement
These terms govern use of Quietbound Image Tools and Quietbound PDF Tools (the "Services"), provided by Benchcut Logic LLC, Durango, Colorado, United States. By installing or using a Service, you agree to these terms. If you use a Service for an organization, you represent that you can accept these terms for that organization.
The Services
Quietbound Image Tools processes selected JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Quietbound PDF Tools merges selected PDFs and extracts, reorders, deletes, or rotates pages. Processing occurs in Google Apps Script with embedded WebAssembly, and outputs are saved to Google Drive. Supported formats and limits are disclosed in each Marketplace listing and in the add-on.
Public beta and pricing
The initial public beta is free of charge. There is no paid tier, trial conversion, usage meter, or automatic charge. If paid service is introduced later, pricing and additional terms will be disclosed before a user is charged.
Your files and responsibilities
You retain all rights to your files and outputs. You are responsible for having permission to process them, reviewing outputs before relying on them, maintaining appropriate backups, and complying with law and organizational policy. Save-a-copy is the default for images; Quietbound PDF Tools always creates a new file. Image replacement is optional and requires explicit confirmation.
Do not use the Services to infringe rights, distribute malware, evade access controls, disrupt Google services, or process content when you lack authority. Do not attempt to defeat file-size, page-count, execution, or authorization limits.
Google services
The Services depend on Google Drive, Google Apps Script, and Google Workspace Marketplace. Your use of those products remains subject to Google's terms. Service availability can be affected by Google quotas, account policy, administrator settings, outages, or product changes outside Benchcut Logic's control.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains the Google user data accessed and how it is processed. Benchcut Logic does not receive or retain selected file contents through normal operation.
Changes, suspension, and termination
We may change or discontinue a beta feature to address security, reliability, law, or platform requirements. We may suspend access for abuse or material breach. You may stop using a Service at any time by uninstalling it and revoking its Google account access. Existing output files remain under your control in Drive.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Benchcut Logic disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, preservation of every unsupported PDF feature, or suitability of outputs for archival, legal, medical, accessibility, or regulatory requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Benchcut Logic is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, revenue, profits, or business opportunity arising from the Services. Benchcut Logic's aggregate liability for a free Service is limited to fifty US dollars (US $50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so those provisions apply only to the extent permitted.
Governing law
Colorado law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts serving La Plata County, Colorado, and each party consents to their jurisdiction.
